The GE PTW600BSRWS is a current GE Profile ENERGY STAR top-load washer with Smarter Wash Technology. The Profile line adds load-sensing electronics on top of the standard inlet-valve/drain-pump platform — an inconsistent fill or spin often traces to the load sensor before the motor/inverter (E42).

GE washers (GTW top-load family) with electronic controls read E codes: E22 (slow fill), E23 (slow drain), E30 (no signal from the drain pump), E42 (motor or inverter, often from overloading), E45 (door thinks it is locked), and E58 (main control).
