GE publishes real, model-specific error codes for most electronic-control appliances. GDT-series dishwashers show C1 (drain restriction, over 2 minutes), C2 (total pump-out over 7 minutes, blocked), or C4 (filled twice after a power failure — check the float). GTW-series and electronic front-load washers show E22 (fill timeout), E23 (drain timeout / flood-protect), or E42 (motor/inverter overload). GTD-series dryers show E1 (thermistor failure) or E3 (exhaust/outlet over-temperature — clean the vent first). Ranges and wall ovens share the same control board and show F2/F20 (oven over-temperature — safety-critical, disconnect power) or F3/F4 (temperature sensor). JVM-series over-the-range microwaves show F1-F6 for sensor or touchpad problems. Refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, wine coolers, and range hoods mostly have no citable error-code list and are diagnosed by symptom.
